A boundary without a line
A boundary without a line

There are no visible lines between people.

And yet, a certain distance naturally forms between us, shaped by our personalities, emotions, memories, and experiences. When we become too close, we may cross into each other’s space. When we grow too distant, the relationship may become disconnected.

Kim Chang-ok’s A Boundary Without a Line explores this subtle distance within relationships through the arrangement and layering of the works, as well as contrasts in color.

Different individuals overlap and move alongside one another without losing their own colors, creating new relationships and harmony in the spaces between them.

A Boundary Without a Line invites us to consider how close we should be to one another in a relationship, and how much distance we may need to leave between us.
