In the Mirror Room, a single MCM trunk is disassembled, showcasing the various components it is crafted from. 

Visitors can take a closer look at the structure and details that are not easily visible in the finished piece, discovering a new perspective of how each element comes together to complete a trunk.

Separated from one another, the individual components transform the familiar trunk into something unexpected, each taking on the presence of an object in its own right.

Behind them unfolds a view of Munich, the city where MCM began. The disassembled trunk and the image of MCM’s city of origin overlap within the same space, naturally connecting the brand’s beginnings with its 50-year journey.
